Boost Buddy Canada: The Spark of Innovation That Started it All!

Boost Buddy Canada, launched in December 2021 in Calgary AB, offers a revolutionary solution for battery boosting, eliminating the need to rely solely on towing companies. Despite having a small workforce of 5 dedicated workers, we successfully provided over 100 battery boosts during our inaugural winter season. Encouraged by this achievement, we expanded our services to Edmonton, recruiting an additional 5 drivers, and aim to fully serve Alberta's major cities by the end of 2023.

In today's "On demand" era, Boost Buddy harnesses the power of peer-to-peer technology, enabling individuals to become drivers and utilize their vehicles, phones, jumper cables, and booster packs to earn income while helping others in need of a battery boost. This innovative platform not only benefits the drivers but also saves time and money for those seeking assistance, making Boost Buddy the go-to service for the population.

Frequently, when a vehicle requires a jump start, many others find themselves in the same predicament. This places a considerable burden on towing companies, who may already be occupied with more critical roadside issues. Consequently, long wait times leave customers stranded without service. Last year, Boost Buddy achieved an average wait time of only 30 minutes for a Battery Boost in Edmonton or Calgary, delivering prompt assistance that is also 35% cheaper.
